Taking stuff back that’s just rubbish

Just bought a light switch made by a company called lightwave and I must say it’s pretty **** compared to the reams of Phillips hue stuff we bought from screwfix

Really crappy dimmer performance , thats not smooth and flickers at the bottom end and that’s not even mentioning the lag between pressing the button and it deciding to do something ( hard wired not using RF)

Im wondering if I can return it it’s definitely not a 50 quids worth but if gear and doesn’t perform as I’d expect
